મીઠાઈનો વરખ છે સ્વાસ્થ્ય માટે હાનિકારક, મુંબઈમાં મુકાયો આવી મિઠાઈ પર પ્રતિબંધ
મુંબઇ, 27 ઓક્ટોબરદિવાળીના તહેવારને ગણતરીના દિવસો બાકી છે અને મીઠાઈ અને કપડાના બજારમાં તેજીનો માહોલ જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે. ત્યારે કેટલીક મીઠાઈની દુકાનોમાં તહેવારોના મહાલનો લાભ લઇને ઓછી ગુણવત્તાવાળી મીઠાઈ વેચતા હોવાનું પોલીસ અને ફુડ એન ડ્રગ ડિપાર્ટમેન્ડ અધિકારીઓના ધ્યાન ઉપર આવતાં કેટલીક મીઠાઈની દુકાનો ઉપર દરોડા પાડીને નકલી મીઠાઈ ઝડપી લેવામાં આવી છે. તહેવારોમાં ઓછી ગુણવત્તાની મિઠાઈ આકર્ષક દેખાય તે માટે તેની પર ચાંદીનો વરખ લગાડવામાં આવે છે પણ આ વરખ આરોગ્ય માટે હાનિકારક હોય છે. આ કારણોસર મહાપાલિકાના આરોગ્ય વિભાગે વરખના વપરાશ પર પ્રતિબંધ મૂકી દીધો છે. મુંબઈના મેયરે તે ઉપરાંત ચાંદીનો વરખ લગાડેલી મીઠાઈઓ વેચનારાઓ સામે કડક પગલાં લેવાની સંબંધિત વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓને સૂચના પણ આપી દીધી છે. |

How to store/preserve
